Not really. Transcripts are relatively detailed then mark sheets in many cases and NOT provided in general to the students. These are directly sent by the concerned Universities to the requiring institutions under your explicit consent. Marksheet is a summary of marks and does not have several important information needed. Though transcripts are explanatory, these can not be used as mark sheets because it is sent on University letterhead. which can be fraudulent. Mark sheets are printed on recorded and watermarked document papers and not easy to make any unauthorized changes. Similarly, degree parchment is connected to your University records through cross-referencing and non-replaceable with any letter-type document, i.e. transcript.
