Do Silicon Valley companies weigh personal projects more than?
Yes. My resume only stated one line indicating any academic result: overall GPA (which is mediocre). The rest is personal projects, mentorship experiences, competitive programming experiences, and a little organizational involvement. So I'm pretty sure my GPA didn't play a big role when I joined Facebook. Oh and thanks for the A2A!
