Does top US universities asks for transcripts from classes 9-12 at?
Yes, they do. To avoid any confusion in the future, you should keep in mind that in the US schools "class" means "course" or "subject", and the years in school are called "grades". Since the US college application process starts in the fall of the 12th grade (also called a senior year), the high school students submit a transcript from the 9-11 grades and also list the classes they are currently enrolled in. After the completion of high school, they send the final transcript to the college that admitted them. If you already graduated from high school, then the full 9-12 transcript is required. Most transcripts are submitted electronically, directly by the schools, but you can also mail a physical copy to the address that's given on the university admissions website.
