How can I get transcripts from Annamalai University?

The Best way to get your Annamalai University transcripts is to best goto the university in person and do it. Please DO NOT apply through any middle agents or online transcript agencies. Annamalai University does not issue transcripts unless the candidate is present, or else you can send in a representative with a letter of authorisation provided by the candidate. The complete process takes about a days time. Reach the University early to finish up the process easily & early. Once you arrive goto the Examinations office. As at the administration block help desk they will direct you. (Distance education and regular university have different examinations office). You would need: A) COPY OF ALL THE MARKSHEETS (take each mark sheet copy on an individual sheet) B) COPY OF CONSOLIDATED MARKSHEET ( if you have it , else not required ) C) COPY OF PROVISIONAL DEGREE CERTIFICATE D) COPY OF DEGREE CERTIFICATE E) COPY OF THE PAYMENT RECEIPT The cost of the transcripts are RS. 3500/- ( we went in June this was the fee we paid). This fees includes the courier charge. However if you enquire at the front office they can guide you better as to what the exact fee is at that moment. They would also give you a form to be filled with all your details. ( hold onto that form too and fill it correctly ) Once you show the fee you need to pay for it online, in the University Website. Your would be advised to goto a browsing centre to do the payment from the university staff. I would also advice that you do the payment via a computer rather than the phone. Open the university website - goto examinations - fees - other miscellaneous fee. You would have to enter the amount and pay for it online. However the payment would be slow and your payment will go through but you might not get an acknowledgement receipt. Do not Panic. If you do not get the acknowledgement slip simply enter your enrolment number again and click on acknowledge and you will get the receipt. Please do take a print out of that slip. Once you have done that, you would need to goto an officer who would check that your payment has gone through and seal and stamp the paper receipt. Once that is done. Next you would be asked to meet the Chief examinations officer, who would check all your documents and sign it. (it is advised to have all your original certificates and documents) Once that is done you would be asked to hand over all the documents that you need for your transcripts to another staff member. Once you hand over your documents your work at the university is done. The university would fill up any forms if they needed to be filled ( e.g., WES forms ), Put all your documents in an envelope and seal it as per the requirements and the university itself would courier it to the required personal. They send the courier via the Indian Postal service. It would take the transcripts upto 20- 25 days to reach its destination. The university provides a telephone number that you can use to call them to get the tracking number. However according to my personal experience, sadly the calls do not get answered. So you would just have to wait for WES or any other company to update if they received the transcripts in your profile. My personal advice would be please do goto the university in person. It works faster. They prefer for the candidate to be there. Also arrive early, because the earlier you are the faster the process. When we were there we arrived early but had to wait a while for the examinations officer to arrive. After that we had to wait for another 2 hrs, because 1.00 pm - 2.00 pm is their lunch time. People only come back to their seats by 2.30 pm to 3.00 pm. Hence I would advice you to finish up your work before lunch time. DO NOT approach any middle man or any other online transcript services as the University has strict rules regarding it. They do not acknowledge it at all.
