What do I do if my surname is misspelled on my transcript and I?
Contact the party that issued your transcript with the misspelling. I assume that the problem started with your high school. Ask that the transcript be correct and re-sent WITH A NOTE EXPLAINING THE ERROR to each university OR to the service that is sending your transcripts. You must make sure that the universities are aware that a corrected copy is being issued to replace the copy with the error.
