What if I send my fake transcript to USA universities?
Sometimes I wonder how a Duke or Northwestern alum from China or India got admitted, after working with them and getting to know them. Let's just say if one has money and connections, the transcripts and even the essays may not necessarily be authentic. Duke, Northwestern and many other elite universities do not have the time and the resources to verify the authenticity of all the documents they receive. Being American, there is an assumption that it is innocent unless proven guilty. In China, India, Latin America, parts of Europe and more, there is a reason why people think guilty unless proven innocent. Over time, these alums would bring their unethical behavior into the US workplace and culture. That is happening today at places like Silicon Valley and New York.
