What is the easiest way to get my transcript from Mahatma Gandhi?
The following steps are for B-tech students Take a copy of all your mark lists and an attested copy of 10th pass certificate as a DOB proof. Go to one of the photocopy centers opposite to university building and tell them you need to apply for transcripts. Give them the mark lists so that they can start preparing a MS word transcripts format document. Also collect a transcript application form from them. Fill up the transcript application form and go to cashiers office (2nd floor near the ATM) . Pay rs1000 + search fee( if applicable) and collect the receipt. There wont be much rush if you do this before 11:30. Come back to the photocopy center and get the transcript printout, MS word soft copy in a CD and the marklist copies. This will cost around rs150. Use a paperclip to hold the CD, receipt, application form, 10th pass certificate attested copy, transcript print out and mark list copies in that order. Walk/drive through the main entrance road till you see the administrative building , then take a right from there and go to new Prateeksha Bhavan ( a 4 storey building with parking space). Go to room no. 214 in second floor (for B-tech) and submit the whole application. They will ask you to note down a phone no there and follow up after 2 weeks. Call the no. after 2 weeks and collect the transcript when ready.
