What is the likelihood of a university forgiving an admitted student?
The student does not need forgiveness for coming clean. The student failed to disclose information and is subject to the universitys policies, and that is what needs to be forgiven. It might be helpful to arrange a meeting to discuss why you did not disclose the information. You were not, after all, hiding failing grades or discipline issues. Hopefully you find a sympathetic ear.
