When you transfer credits to another university, do you have two?
I have seen both situations occur. Usually the school from which you graduate will give at least some credit for courses taken at another university. Long ago, when I was at MIT, MIT would only transfer credits for courses that directly matched an MIT course. Then of course they lowered the grade. An A became a C. Each university will have its own policy.
