Will Michigan University accept me if I'm in the military regardless?

No. While U of M is proud of their relationship with various branches of the U.S. military through their ROTC programs (which I was part of the NROTC), GPA and rest scores still matter. Yes there are exceptions, particularly if your family is a significant contributing alum, or they have political influence, or possibly your military service career was highly decorated. While I cannot speak to the current admission policies of the school, when I went there they were more interested on diversity. Not to imply that that is not important, but at the time reverse discrimination was a prevalent issue. I love U of M and am a very loyal advocate. It has been my experience, though, that unless you have a very high GPA or outstanding SAT / ACT test scores, you will need to hope for some divine intervention. Best of luck.
