As a prospective Stanford University transfer student, where?
You should submit your transcripts to any school you want to attend. I was recruited and admitted with a football scholarship. I had better opportunities in aid from USC &UCLA. My father told me to go to Stanford or don't expect to come home on weekends for your mom to do your wash. That's a little weird because my fathers in the USC Heritage Hall of Fame. He broke his neck freshman year and transferred to track. He then won the college championship in 1934 and 1935. In 1936 he won the gold medal at the Olympics held in Germany. That's the famous Jesse Owens Olympics. Stanford is a good school and has brought me a lot of compliments just because I attended. A degree from Stanford says something about you. They are so proud of their admission standards that it's very hard to flunk out. That would put egg on their face. If you can get into Stanford and be able to afford it, go for it. The Stanford people I went to school with have gotten a lot of jobs whether they graduated or dropped out after their sophomore year. Just getting in is an accomplishment. What, they get 95,000 applicants and take 5,000? They also will take a B student over an A student if the B student has something on their side they have done. Sports, music ability, life experiences, etc. Even their a lot of them, Stanford doesn't just pick nerds, they pick a total opposite of you in picking your freshman roommate.(that was 50 years ago so I might be blowing air) Good luck and major in the sciences. My sons a Robotics engineer and was hired by Boing 2 days out of school.
