Do American universities consider application documents like test?
The extremely prestigious US university where I work applies the deadline only to the student's application, not to materials that come from testers and schools, etc. As long as those are in before we're through reading, they'll count. At the very end we go through the apps with missing materials and make the best decisions we can.
