World Education Services(WES) is an organisation that is dedicated to helping international students and professionals achieve their educational and professional goals in the United States and Canada. Most bachelor degree programs in the U.S. are for four years. Because of this, many universities in the U.S. may feel hesitant about accepting a bachelors degree with only three years of study. Traditionally, a three years degree from India has been viewed in the U.S. as completion of three years of undergraduate study. This is why Indian students are usually required to cover extra credits to be admitted in a graduate school in the USA. Our Indian Education System is based on the UK or British model wherein we have a three tier degree structure i.e. (Bachelors, Masters and PhD) and most of the Indian degree are of three years of duration. Therefore some universities in US and Canada prefer a WES evaluation that converts academic credentials earned to the equivalency in the country where you have applied for further education. It allows institutions to understand foreign education and fairly judge an individual for education. A credential evaluation gives validity to your international education.
