Does having an associate's degree eliminate the necessity of sending?
Unfortunately you have to check with the schools that you are applying to transfer into. After high school or its equivalent degree in the US, many universities want to ensure that the diploma or GED was awarded and base transfer admission on collegiate performance. There is no standardized test requirements for transfer admission. If you are looking to stay in state and at a public institution, check with your advisor about the articulation agreements to determine if the Associate's degree is required. If you are continuing immediately to full time enrollment for the Bachelor's degree, the Associate's degree may be more of a distraction than a necessity. It will provide confidence, but will also increase the number of credits that won't be included in your advanced standing st the University. You took a practical step in matriculating at a Community College, demonstrate that you have your academic head on straight by making a plan and doing the work. I hope this helps. Good luck!
