How do I obtain transcripts for BTech from Punjab Technical?
Hey Hi, This process is very simple. But yes you need to send someone to your college and university if you want WES thing done quickly. Now For WES You need total 3 set of documents. 1. WES Checklist: This checklist is available on WES website. Once you register it, all details will be autmoatically filled in the PDF. On top Half, get signatures from your college authorised person and get it stamped. 2. Transcripts: ORDER Transcript ONLINE, It will take less than 2 weeks to reach your Indian postal address. They use EMS Speed post to deliver this document. Keep the sealed envelop with you. Follow this link to get Transcript: How do I get a transcript from PTU Jalandhar? 3. All DMCs and Degree Photocopy attested by University Along with Checklist: For each document PTU will charge 50 Rs., You just go to university early in morning at 9:00 am. They will give you sealed Envelop which have (1) WES Checklilst and (3) Degree and DMCs photocopy on same day. I got it before lunch. MY CONSULTANT TOLD ME TO SEND ALL ABOVE SAID DOCUMENTS TO AVOID TIME WASTAGE IN VERIFICATION PROCESS. THERE ARE MANY LEADS WHICH SAYS ONLY TRANSCRIPTS ARE ENOUGH OR SOMETHING BUT DONT TAKE ANY RISK. This process saved my 15 days. Now Just Follow Courier process and address details written on the WES website and Courier these 2 envelops along with a cover letter. You can get sample cover letter easily on internet. USE DHL COURIER SERVICE ONLY. They will charge you Rs. 1500/- for delivery to Canada and your package will reach WES within 5 working days. (It took 3 days for me though) And Within a week WES will start your verification process and 20 days after your documents are accepted you will get your education credentials documents. I also work outside India so I processed in above way, Even though my physical presence was not needed but I came to India for a week. It took me only 1 day to get all this process done as I had already got my transcripts. My timeline: 9 DEC/17 : Profile creation 11 DEc/17 Transcript order from PTU Website (Received on 21st Dec) 29th DEC/17 Went to PTU for Attestation of documents: (I got college thing done by my friend) 3 JAN 18 Sent docs to WES Canada 5 JAN 18 Docs received 12 JAN Verification process started 1 FEB I received my WES on email and 4th FEB At my home in India. One personal Suggestion: Please appear for IELTS exam and try to get 7778 score then apply for WES. Otherwise you will waste money for getting your education credentials done.
