What kind of grad school are you talking about? Ph.D. or master's? I think the difference is significant.My friend went to international exchange at Illinois and had some B's and C's. He eventually made it to Carnegie Mellon a few years later, but it's not in a Ph.D. program. I think in a Ph.D. program they would be more strict. My best advice to you is to do your research on some specific schools, because that might differ from school to school. If you can't change the past, you can change the future. Make sure you have strong records on your returning school and a good GRE score. Good luck!
