Is it required for all US and UK universities to provide all your?

In the US, it is not up to the university to track your applications process and "report" your grades. You are required, however, to have official transcripts of all your undergraduate work sent to the graduate admissions office. If you were a transfer student as an undergrad, you must send all transcripts from all schools, even if the degree-conferring school transcript shows the transferred credits. These transcripts well verify the completion of your undergrad requirements and the resulting degree, which is required for admission to grad school. You will sign documents that indicate you understand this requirement. You must make an official request that the official transcript(s) be sent. This information is only sent with your permission. It is not true that "anyone can ask" for information about you, your attendance, your graduation date or anything else. This information is private. There is a fee for an official transcript, which will be sent directly to the graduate admissions office, not to you.
