What is the procedure to get electronic transcript from PSG COLLEGE?
Edit 10/28/2021: You can get transcripts for PSG College of Technology online at _________________________ Based on my experience and people who have applied recently, there is no procedure in place to apply for electronic transcripts. You need to apply for a hard-copy of the transcript at the Controller of Examinations. Once you get the hard-copies attested, you need to unseal the transcript packet, scan it and send it to the respective universities. The procedure to apply for transcripts, as issued by Controller of Examinations at PSGTech (they havent updated the process since 2011) is given below Quoting from the Notice issued by Controller of Examinations: *********************************************************Candidates can apply for transcripts by submitting the required number of Photocopies of the grade sheets to the office of Controller of Examinations, PSG College of Technology. The candidate may either come in person or send a messenger or send the required number of sets of Photocopies of grade sheets by post addressed to the The Controller of Examinations, PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore 641 04, Tamil Nadu. Copies of grade sheets taken in colour photo copiers are not accepted. The fee for issuing transcript is `200/- per set. The Transcripts, after attestation, will be placed in sealed covers and handed over in person to the candidate/messenger. The candidates shall make their own arrangements for sending the transcripts covers to Foreign Universities. The total fee can be paid by cash in the account section of the College or in the form of demand draft drawn in favour of The Principal, PSG College of Technology payable at Coimbatore which shall be send along with the photocopies of grade sheets. Cheques will not be accepted. The attestation will be done only for the grade sheets issued by Controller of Examinations. Other certificates will not be attested.********************************************************From experience, if you want the documents as soon as possible1. Visit the CoE in person. Sending it by post will only take time. (My father works for India post, so I have no prejudice here!)2. It is better to pay in the accounts section. Despite the accounts section being open only between 10 am and 3 pm on most days, it is still a better choice than going for the demand draft option. Key takeaways:1.
