What is the procedure to get transcripts from Maharishi Dayanand?
I visited MDU, Rohtak on 20 May, 2019 for the transcript. Process from reaching Rohtak to getting transcript: Step 1. After you reach Rohtak, take auto for MDU Gate no. 1. Take entry and keep walking straight for like 100 steps, on the right you will see one yellow board for Cooperative Bank and beside it a blue board of Controller of examinations Parikhsa Sadan commonly known as Parikhsa Sadan. Take right along with this road and first and go to the extreme and of the only building on left side. It will be a cashier window. Step 2. Tell the cashier your course and Registration number. Regn. number you can find in all marksheets and your degree too. Per semester he fee is 200. I did B.tech so for me 8 semester. I paid 8*2=1600/-. He gave me receipt for the same. Also they asked for degree attestation. For that they charged 300/- So in total I paid 1600+300 = 1900/-. Timings as you can see written 9:00 to 12:30 PM, but cashier sits till 1:00 PM. Step 3. Fill your WES application form. If you dont have it, you can get it from the canteen beside the cashier window on opposite road. The guy in canteen sitting in front of computer knows everything. He will help you with the form. No need to fill WES reference number for now. You will need it while sending to WES. Step 4: Write Application to Ass. Registrar asking for the transcript. Write it on a blank paper(A4 sheet). For an idea. Step 4: collect and staple all these documents: Receipt of the payment you got from cashier Application paper to the Registrar. Photocopies of all your marksheets and degree. WES filled form and go to Pariksha Sadan. Watchmen standing there in Pariksha sadan will help you further, that in which room you need to go. There are few rooms name: R-I to R-IV. I was B.Tech so for me it was R-III. Step 5: Go to your assigned room. Ask for anyone who is accepting documents for transcript. Generally person who collects documents will be sitting near door only. Hand him documents. He will say that they will post the transcript at your home with stamp and envelope. But as suggested in one of the answers, DO NOT RELY ON THEM. Tell them, you will collect transcript your own. They will agree and write by pen, By Hand or B.H. on the top of your documents. Make sure they write it, otherwise you they will post you which is unreliable. After that they will tell you a sequence number for your documents. DO NOT FORGET TO TAKE THAT SEQUENCE NUMBER. That is the only proof that you submitted your documents. Step 6: After 10 days or so you or anyone of your known can come and collect the transcript. Step 7: Transcript will be in envelope and MDU stamp will be on that. You can go to the nearby post office in MDU campus only and tell them to post. It will be referred as, it is sent by MDU only. Your work is done. Thank you. Update: My friend posted it through registry which costed 140/- per person. It got posted to Canada successfully. Also, WES verified and approved my documents. So my WES process status is complete now.
