Will it hurt my chances of getting into any US universities if I only?
Please please please read the instructions provided by the universities you are interested in and adhere them to the letter. US universities are under no obligation to follow or accept the policies of other countries. You are just making it easy for them to reject you out-of-hand if you present a profile which makes it impossible for them to compare you objectively to other candidates. If you are serious about applying to a US university, just *follow the rules.* (Unless your parents are rich enough to donate a building, then perhaps you will be judged by a different standard.) Apologies for the snarky remark. My basic advice remains. Complete the application as requested on the admissions website.
