Are universities reluctant to accept adults returning to school?
Some universities welcome returning adults. I know I always liked having them. What they lacked in academic skills and time available to study, they made up for in world knowledge and work ethic. We had one clown who wrote an editorial in the campus paper complaining about how much they monopolized classroom discussion. I wrote back and ripped him a new . orifice. He didnt like me much after that. Where did you apply? Forget Harvard or MIT. You may have to enroll at a local college and show you can do well before transferring to a more challenging place.
