My school transcripts from grade 9-10 have been pretty bad.?
If you have poor grades, dont apply to top schools. You have to look at the GPA acceptance. Apply to schools that have a GPA range that yours fits into. For example, if youre applying to Harvard and have a 2.5 GPA, youre not getting in. Your high school GPA says a lot about how youll perform in college. If you cant even do well in high school, you wont do well at a top school as they are more rigorous than other universities. Schools look at your cumulative GPA from all 4 years of high school. Maybe getting As since 11 grade will help, but typically, they want to see academic excellence all 4 years.
